Jefferson Township was recently named to the 50 Safest Communities in New Jersey list complied by safewise.com.
Jefferson came in at #30 on the list sandwiched between Palisades Park and East Windsor Township. The paragraph on Jefferson gave a lot of well deserved credit to Camp Jefferson and the Challenger Soccer Program. Mahwah came in at #1 and Sparta at #2.
