The Jefferson Township Chamber of Commerce held its first chamber-wide holiday party on December 11 at Jimmy Geez North on route 23 in Oak Ridge. A good cross section of chamber members attended the event and had a great time while supporting a good cause. Attendees at the party brought with them non-perishable food as their contribution to local food pantries.
On December 22 the chamber’s board of directors reconvened and delivered the food collected at the party, along with other food collected at various drop-off centers across town, to the food pantry at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Lake Hopatcong.
